How to play
Seven questions, 25 seconds each, and a lot of football history. Here's how to make every answer count.
Choose your challenge
Daily Challenge is the same for everyone and changes at midnight Eastern Time. Play it again as often as you like; your first and best completed scores are kept separately. A game already in progress stays with the date on which you started it.
Unlimited draws another seven questions from the shared bank each time. It excludes the current Daily Challenge; because the bank is finite, questions can eventually repeat.
Answer a round
- Read the prompt, including its years and conditions. It tells you whether to name a player, team or coach.
- Type one qualifying name and submit it within 25 seconds. There is no autocomplete.
- A correct answer ends the round and earns its fixed challenge points. An unrecognized or nonqualifying answer can be retried while time remains.
- Skip or run out of time and the round earns zero. Complete all seven rounds to see your result.
Names and scope
Common aliases are included where they can be identified confidently. A real person or team may still fall outside the question's stated scope. If a short name could mean more than one person, use the full name.
